Darlene Dartez Although born and raised in Del Rio Texas, my love for Fredericksburg started in my childhood days with visits year round to see my grandmother and other family members. My life is full of wonderful memories watching this town grow over the years and it only continues to get better!
In 1978 I met and married my husband Peter a Fredericksburg native, and we have five beautiful children blessed with the opportunity to grow up and experience the kind of life this quaint, beautiful town has to offer!
My husband Peter and his brother Timmy own and operate a well established (over 20 yrs.) Construction Company Dartez Brothers Construction, Inc. as well as a second construction company, Fredericksburg Homes. They specialize in residential, remodeling and light commercial!

Jenny Neffendorf My first vision of Fredericksburg was driving down Main Street at midnight during Christmas to visit my parents who had retired here. The entire street was lit up with beautiful white lights ; I made the decision then and there I was going to live here. After living on both coasts (Weston Connecticut in High School, Boston (Pine Manor College) and transferring to Pepperdine University in Malibu, I had finally made it back to my home state (born in Ft Worth). This is a great place to raise a family and small enough to feel safe but at the same time diverse with a lot of the cultural interest of a big city.
I have a great family, my step daughter Melissa lives in San Antonio with her brother Marshall, my son, Jordan, is a Junior in High School and an aspiring chef. My husband Gary is the City Manager of Fredericksburg and has done a fantastic job for 15 years . My hobbies are cooking and watercolor painting in my "spare" time, and then there's shopping, but that's more of an obsession my husband would say...........

Renee Laughlin As a descendent of original pioneer settlers to Fredericksburg, I have a special connection to this wonderful community. I was born at Misawa Air Force Base in Japan but Fredericksburg was always considered "home". After my father retired from the U.S. Air Force we made the move back to Fredericksburg and I have been here ever since.
I graduated from Fredericksburg High School and the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. I have two children, Garrett and Chelsea and too many pets to name! I enjoy being outdoors and fortunately the Texas Hill Country offers lots of wonderful sunshine! When you list your house with a real estate agent who participates in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), you get a lot of service for your money. Depending upon the MLS region, there may be hundreds of participating members.
The real estate agent who lists your home works to get it sold. This is done by marketing directly to home buyers, but an even more powerful tool is marketing your home to other agents who have buyers. Your real estate agent makes all the crucial information about your home available to the other members through the MLS, such as location, size, the number of rooms, the style of architecture, what personal property is included, and any other special features. The MLS description will also contain information about any special financing that might be available, showing instructions, and special needs you may have with respect to closing. It is a powerful tool for real estate matchmakers.
